Cattle Egret

 Cattle Egret

The cattle egret (Bubulcus ibis) flies in the evening over the bridge that links the mainland with Ilha Faro (Portugal), The outstreched mudflats of the Ria Formosa natural reserve provide a rich source of food, not only for this water-bird.

Making of: I used the Nikon 300s, Nikon 300mm lense and a low exposure time in order to capture details of the feather. I did the photo while walking across the bridge. The egret was flying slow why it was easy to track it.
