Almost Dark

It is autumn and the evenings get shorter. The young swans have grown up and it is their first winter to come. A little coot is joining  them. There is almost no wind on this calm evening.

Making of: The photo was made when bicycling back from work. The sky looked very special this evening and I was perhaps just enough light left to make a photo. The canal and the swans and the reflections in the water I found attractive and there was still some reed to  frame and decorate the picture.
