Spanish moss covers the trunks of this cypress tree in the honey island swamp. The hot afternoon sun is damped by the hundred thousands of leaves of Honey Island Swamp.
Making of: The “Cajun encounters” at the bridge across White Pearl River offers boat trips that bring you close to nature. Entering the small side arms and channels of the river through willows and accross old trunks with our small but strong boat, we were able to observe nature from close by.
